Read to Move is a MASC presented workshop for elementary children combining literacy and movement. Concept Dance is directed at youth and connects to the dance curriculum, including compositional elements. ALL workshops promote self- esteem and problem solving skills. ALL workshops bilingual. Festival de Danse en Milieu Scolaire (FDMS)
Ottawa Dance Directive partnered with MASC, le Centre d’excellence artistique de l’Ontario/École secondaire publique De la Salle and The School of Dance to create the Festival de danse en milieu scolaire (FDMS) in April 2015. This 3 day festival of dance for French speaking youth in Ontario has been a successful annual event with youth from across the province.
